A cookbook without recipes, this is an invitation to journey through the mind of a chef as they work, Thom Eagle. The brief was to create a jacket which evoked a culinary journey in a simplistic way. I thought it wise to make sense of the title - which means to ‘first catch the hare’. Movement and a sense of journey were two crucial elements to encapsulate, all tied together with a classic textured cloth. The cover was conceptualised by me & brought to life with Aurelia Langes' beautiful illustration.
